    Archived Pay discrepancy between SETLs

It's supposed to be a $4 bump. So if you were at $13 you should be at $17.

    Archived ETL pay?

Congratulations and welcome to the team! 53k is a good starting wage, within 6 months you should see your first increase.

Archived ETL Pay (expectation vs potential reality)

Nobody is trying to screw anyone but everyone has different offers. The ETL pay ranges from 51k to 103k so there's a big gap there. If you're going from TM to ETL. First you should consider yourself lucky but also even with a degree, I think 53K is generous. They WILL consider your previous...

    Archived GSTL Pay

There are many liars out there ... and it all depends on market, promotions, raises, and experience. If you accepted $18 an hour that's great, it's a good rate. The starting wage company wide is $16 for leads UNLESS you work in a pricier market. So don't sweat it!

Archived ETL rules/regulations on swapping shifts/giving up shifts.

This is seriously not a big deal. If it wasn't like that before it should have been.

Archived ETL Pay (expectation vs potential reality)

That's still a very solid Management starting rate. Not to mention your early goal raise set in 6 months and then the potential bonus. You could hit 60k

    Archived Question for closing leads

The coverage will be 100% up to your STL. You should always have a Leader that works a mid who could cover your lunch break. Other than that, just a Service & Engagement Lead to close with you. The pay is normal Senior pay but I think it's very negotiable. If ur already up there then only...

    Archived New upcoming org charts?

Most stores won't gain TL headcount, they'll loose it. It all depends on your Volume, same with Executive count. I'm kinda nervous to see the Food changes and how they impact my store. Food & Beverage lead was in position all year at my store during the Pilot and I'm currently in a Super were...

Archived Need Help making a decision

If you are internal you should promote to TL. It will make the most sense honestly, you'll thank us later. I came to Target with over a decade of experience and I'm glad I started in a Sr. TL Role, there's a lot to get acquainted to. Now, it's true becoming a Lead will hold you back from...

Archived Internal Promoting to Leader (ETL) - Interview Help

None of the questions I was recently asked pertained to the new Operating Model. I also was curious about this but was surprised to see they used the old guides. Partner with your HR, they may be able to help (unofficially).

Archived Want to develop to ETL! Tips?

Involve yourself more with the Hardlines/General Merch team, make sure you act as co-lead with that team. It's important during visits with your DTL that you are walking your aisles and presently engaging with guests and that you continue to do so even without a visit in place. You are already...

    Archived New leadership positions

In the Pilot test the PMT becomes the PML. They report directly to their Business Partner and the STL is a resource. I don't think anything changes, pay is still Senior TL grade.

Archived ETL Pay (expectation vs potential reality)

Thank you guys for your feedback! I got my promotion right after New Years. Two things I can say is that as an internal, they take in consideration what you are currently making and also any potential pending annual review. Smooth process, I have no complaints :)

Archived ETL Pay (expectation vs potential reality)

Any updates? I'm sorta in the same boat, making about 45k as a SR.TL and going into a interview process next week. Going into it with no degree but 13 years of experience despite my short time at Target. I'm hoping for 55k minimum.

    Archived Question about ETL Promotion?

If your store is under the Pilot model then yes you are locked in position for 18 months (or a year depending who you ask). But if you are promoting your DTL can get you into a new role sooner.

I think it was only for TLs under $16

I may or may not do it. As yes I am highly aware that it's a terminable offense.

Archived SrTLs in the new Ops Model

I think most people assume the Seniors become closers but it's not necessarily true. You can be transitioned into any position. We were one of the first to try out the Pilot and I transitioned into Beauty/Tech and now Style too. I kept my keys, my pay actually went up and I still close LOD on...

Archived Is it true that all TLs will soon be key carriers?

I believe you'll be able to checkout keys from AP if you happen to need to cover a break or what not. But only Leaders (ETL) and grandfathered Leads (Seniors) will have permanent keys. No additional pay will be given as mentioned already.
