It’s my understanding that you have to become team lead before you can become EtL. Outside hires sometimes skip Lead and go straight to ETL. Things may have changed I’m not sure.

I have seen TL at my store promote to ETL and stay at my store.

At my store we have a leader for drive up and a leader for fulfillment. Front end does not do drive up at my store. Front end helps occasionally when we’re swamped.

I like an SD who will jump in wherever needed. My SD helps drive up a lot. I think he secretly loves it.

Reshoot and zones are just as important as other workload.

Did you speak with EtL or SD?

Used to be if you were wanting to go from TL to ETL, you had to be a leader in at least 2 different departments before becoming ETL. It may be different now. We had 2 SETL’s promote to ETL. One was grocery TL before SETL other was GM TL before SETL.

I can’t speak for all stores but, at my store if a leader position opens you have to go for it or wait till one in a department you want becomes available. Most the wait for a leader spot you could be a long one. This is why I advise to go for any available leader position it gets you...

I think if you really want to be a TL my advice would be apply for any open TL position. You can change departments later but, if you wait to apply for the department you want you may have a long wait.

What do you mean by moving up? What do you want to do? The only position I know of above team member are team lead. ETL and Sd are both team lead positions so, what else is there?

I hate hate hate tea of any kind so I’d be in trouble in your state.

Your not a regular team member, you are a team member trying to promote to lead.

If your going to be fine then why are you asking advice from us? If your going to be fine you don’t need our advice so stop asking.

Nothing is secret these days thanks to social media. I have hung out with fellow team members before but, never team leads and I have no interest in becoming a leader. You clearly want to be a leader so I’d be real careful.

I’ve been with Target long enough to know your wrong. Keep attending parties and see how fast you derail your chances of becoming a team lead.

Do you want to be a team lead or do you want to party? Based on all your posts here I wouldn’t want you as my team lead.
