I also think the backroom team needs to come back. While I enjoyed backstocking (and would often do it myself when we HAD a team back there), there are too many idiot TMs who have no idea how to do it properly...among the other things the backroom team covered that is no longer being covered.

My store did the usual TL interviews. We didn't know it was for AP until they announced who got it. My guess is that it depends on the volume of the store, too...

I failed to mention that there were a few times where it was VERY OBVIOUS. You could smell it on them or just the way they acted. Yes, hearing of things did happen, but people coming into work with obvious signs of their actions also happened.

Makes sense. Our ETLs never seemed to see the ones who were under the influence. Or understand why the hungover ones were hungover.

Definitely an issue at my former store. I've heard of TMs taking (several) shots before work or smoking a joint or two before coming in. There was many times I wished I could have said something to HR, but they never acted on anything. Isn't there supposed to be random drug testing? In five...

I think some Super Targets have a ETL-FOOD...I would assume that's for grocery, bakery, and deli? We had an ETL leave to be the food ETL in another store.
