    Archived TLs scheduling themselves

    All the TLs in my store work the same shifts/days during the week and rotate weekends, barring special circumstances (like our SrTL working overnight with me during Q4 to prep for Black Friday). So we write ourselves into the schedules, but it's always the same.

    They are all scheduled under their workcenters, except when our seniors do LOD shifts. Sometimes it causes a hardship (like this upcoming schedule, our three HLTLs are going to work with my team under my hours just to give salesfloor TMs some time).

    ohohoho, do you have several hours? My biggest issue with my ETLs is their lack of physical work ethic. They will be there for 10 hours, but probably do 2 hours of of work throughout the day. I don't expect my STL to push reshop for four hours or super zone entire departments, but it's a morale...

    My hours do not include salesplanners! I wish they did, because we have to do them anyway.

    Archived ETLs in the breakroom...

    Our ETLs only go into the break room for the microwave (they have a mini fridge in one of their offices for their own lunch storage). They'll take an hour or so for "breakfast" in the TL Office and then the same for lunch later.

    Archived Tips on sending effective emails

    My ETL constantly tells me that I'm not communicating enough because he doesn't get CC'ed on all the emails I send my peers. It's a lose-lose situation if the other team leads feel as you do. At least I'm covering my own ass by adding him to emails now.
