    Archived Counterfeit bills?

On a side note, did you know that making a copy of a bill, even a counterfeit one, is considered counterfeiting also? An ETL AP told me this and had me re-size the bill when I made copies of our latest fakes!

    Archived Counterfeit bills?

I always thought best practice was to accept the bills no matter what unless it is so bad it is like Monopoly money. Target does not want a lawsuit from accusing a guest of passing funny money. We are to let AP know and then deposit the bills just like the real ones. We also have had a slew...

    Archived gstl breaks

I don't see how anyone could GSA and not take a break! I need that 15 minutes of NOT hearing my ETL screaming on the walkie about RedCards. If I didn't take my break I might seriously hurt someone.

    Archived GSTLs and cashier "empowerment"

Anybody's store give a 5$ Target "coupon" on those items to vibe the guest? I'm wondering if what we're doing is OK, since there isn't an actual coupon involved.

Archived Think of going for GSTL

I'm a GSA only and I still end up mopping poo, pee, puke, etc or even plunging toilets on a regular basis, along with getting carts. We only get a cart attendant during our busy times, so if it's before 2:30 or so, guess who gets to have all the fun?! LOL

    Archived SrTLs

Both of our GSTLs are SrTLs, along with one of our Softlines TLs.

    Archived Team leader to ETL

Do you have a felony/drug conviction/bad credit/etc that is keeping you at Target? I really resent that.

    Archived Team leader to ETL

I know of quite a few TMs, including myself, who have an "actual" 4 year bachelor's degree.

Archived The Fine Line Between GSA and GSTL

It sounds to me like that was the approach the OP took, and it backfired on them! As a new GSA also, I am extremely hesitant to say anything at all to the team members for this very reason. Unfortunately our GSTL avoids conflict at all costs, including much-needed coachings and final warnings...

Archived The Truth About What Execs Really Think of Team Leaders

Not sure if it's official, but when I asked him why he was leaving he said he was told that he would never get promoted past SrTL because he did not have a degree. It's really frustrating because he was by far the best LOD we had. I don't have a problem with our new ETL's because they are...

Archived The Truth About What Execs Really Think of Team Leaders

Our store is losing one of our best people, a SrTL, to another retailer just because he doesn't have a 4 year degree. Yet we just hired two "sorority girl" types for an ETL and a SrTL position who have no business trying to run a store. Makes me sad for Target's future.
