In my area you need to work 90 days to use sick hours, but you start accruing them from the first day. It all depends of the state/city you work in. Ask HR about the sick hour policy for your store, or check your papers from the orientation.
In my area went to from $19 to $24 for TL position, while TMs are still at $15.
Honestly, it is hard to find decent TM to do the job when most of the grocery stores are paying $17-20/per hour. TL turnover is high, when you can be a cashier for the same pay.
Pharmacy inters get a fixed raise every year (in my old store was $1/year), not like TMs, witch is based on performance. And stores gets, kinda an extra hours from the district for interns. In my state, interns have more responsibilities than the technicians, because they are training you to be...
SFT does not work for the store, it works for the district facility management, so it not on the store's payroll.... at my district is approx $25-30/h.
I got O. Last year I got Ex, and as fresh seasonal TM, I got an E two years ago.
For my store E was 3.5% 2y ago, 4.5% last year for Ex, and 6.5% for O this year.
We have something similar, we have a TM who just do sidecaps in the whole store, but he doesn't get 40 hours, he gets 20 hours max for that! Our salesplaners are done by TLs, except for electronics, I do that.
At my store cosmetics TMs (not a specialist), food av, starbucks are N05 (+.25), Electronics, Cart Attendants, Photo, Cashiers at electronics and pharmacy are N07 (+1), GSAs, PA, old specialists, signing, tps are N09 (+2). TLs are +5.50.
I started as seasonal. My seasonal time of 90 days doesn't count for vacation/sick/personal holiday. After 6m as regular TM you start to accumulate. It is not 1000 hours, its 6 months, if your average is 20+ hours for vacation and 32+ for personal holiday.
If you don't see on your paycheck...
I'm thinking on moving cross country next year, and I was wondering how much Target pays in some other regions in the States. Whats a starting pay for a TM and a TL at your store and what State or metro area/region is that?
At my store is 9.5, and 13.75 for TL, and I'm from metro NYC area. I...
