Only team leads get paid for the holiday if you are off.

I work in P-Fresh (ex PA). I currently still have a set schedule with rotating weekends. I’m not sure how my schedule can change since ordering still has to be done on certain days and we receive trucks on specific days as well.

What was the deal with the announced 48 hour work weeks? We were told that we would be able to work overtime If we wanted to instead of hiring more seasonals this year, but it never happened. We ended up hiring just as many seasonals and were told we were not allowed to work over.

As a team member, I was paid for jury duty.

Yep. I work in dairy and my job code is MD1.

Because I am the Dairy dbo, I need to be scheduled on certain days. Even when my hours are cut, I usually am allowed to stay to get the job done.

That’s great that your getting paid for it but unless your a TL your not supposed to. Someone must have keyed in an incorrect job code. my average is around 38 and I only get holiday pay for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Obviously time and a half is for everyon who works the day.

You have to be a TL or higher to get paid for all holidays whether you work them or not. Only full-time TM’s get paid for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

At the end of the day I was informed by my leadership that the company realized its mistake and that Market hours would be increased effective immediately because the virus is not over. I am allowed to work normal full hours in P-Fresh again.

We were short handed in our department and couldn’t get through the holiday without him.
