    Shopping pattern of our Guest has changed but we have made adjustments. Can't base schedule on last year's pattern. Much busier later in the day now. Like we have lines at closing!

    That's the hard part to swallow, the amount of money has made this year during a pandemic. I'm very appreciative of the bonus money they gave us but I'm not machine and the workload is heavy during January. Keep hearing get the team to do the work for. What team?! When there is no payroll...

    State law superceded Target law. For example in my state you are compensated for jury duty regardless of status. Full time part time seasonal TM vs TL makes no difference. I had to fight for one of my TM to get paid. (work as HR for a bit so I knew then law regarding JD)

    I believe that to be untrue. It sounds like you are able to use sick time for your children. ( in my state you can use for sick kid spouse, doctor's appointment etc) whether you're on a CCA or not you should be able to be compensated. Talk to HR. If you don't have a horrible attendance...

    You still can be counseled whether you use sick time or not. the chances of being actually terminated are minimized if sick time is used.
