    Being told you are getting a pay bump, if you currently make under the minimum ($11 or $11.50 for TMs). I doubt they'll pull in anyone making over the minimum except maybe leads, since it could only lead to negotiating and we know they don't want that.

    I can't imagine the overnight differential is what that's referring to, because our receiver, pog team, and signing tm all come in at 4AM or earlier and they apparently aren't eligible for it.

    True, but I feel like this is the kind of thing that'll take one Q4 to figure out if it attracts the kind of applicants they're looking for. If it does they'll keep on, if not they'll move on to their next idea.

    I can't imagine this will last that long, though. Look how long it took them to roll back on the excessive pay for VMTLs do what softlines TMs already did. Once they realize they won't get that high caliber of salespeople from this without offering commission, they'll be on to the next "focus".

    That's not true for all stores, though. Mine added pushing the truck and occasionally finishes backstocking (usually incorrectly because it's such a high turnover department), but pog sets their pogs, pricing does their pricing, etc, and that's not likely to change until next year at this point.

    $17.25/hr to hang clothes??? Damn, I'll go back to doing that sh*t, lol. This all seems super complicated and confusing. Maybe that's the point, people won't complain when they can't even wrap their heads around how pay rates are calculated.

    That makes sense, which is probably why my store hasn't been headed in this direction at all. In the past couple months E2E is basically over in my store, flow is back to waving freight except in the few usual areas, softlines keeps hiring 17 year olds who quit after a couple months, cosmetics...

    I wonder what the difference between Entry and Specialty pay will be. I mean, it's already long past time for me to leave Spot but if I hear that those idiots at my store that I watch spend after closing throwing shoes at each other for 15 minutes and then "not having time to finish the zone"...
