Archived Promised near 40, but not getting it

HR should have never promised 40. Although you earlier said HR told you that “the potential is high for [you] to get up near 40,” which doesn’t really sound like a promise but is definitely misleading. A college degree for a job that doesn’t require or need one isn’t going to get you any special...

    Archived Rotating availability?

JAS doesn’t let you put in a multiweek availability on an application, but myTime does allow you to submit multiweek availability. So if you need an availability that rotates over a two week period (or up to a six week period even) then myTime can accommodate. But you’d have to make them aware...

Archived X next to hours on Kronos

It just means you were transferred to a different workcenter than your primary workcenter. There’s no job code for OPU Pick and all flexible fulfillment TMs automatically fall into the flexible fulfillment work center by default.

You should really consider contributing at least 5%. Target matches you dollar for dollar on the first 5%, so if you're contributing less than 5 percent then you are leaving money on the table.

Archived Why don't we get a Yearly Bonus?

You know...they don't have to provide anything. I've worked in stores where tms get nothing.

    Archived Paygrade

Most new TLs start out at N11. Some are a higher paygrade based on the position, like RxTL is a 15 regardless. It's specialty TLs that start out higher. You will also start at a higher paygrade if you are a key carrying TL such as Flow TL in a lower volume store. But everyone else starts out as...

    Archived Average TL yearly raise.

It's the same method as tms. The only real difference is that your review score is based on AE metrics. Basically your score starts at your myPerformance store summery score; then you get up to 15 discretionery points that you can argue for.

Archived Who Has A Target 401K Enrollment Plan?

Nope. I do live with family, but not my parents. I want to move out, but why pay more bills than I have to while I'm trying to finish school? There are cheap places to live around here, but they're the kind of places where you sleep with one eye open. I'm not about that life. So basically I'm...

Archived Who Has A Target 401K Enrollment Plan?

I put in 11% right now, increasing by 2% each year until I hit 15%. I also direct deposit 30% of my pay straight into savings. I've got to save up for tuition, fees, and textbooks each semester.

Archived Who Has A Target 401K Enrollment Plan?

If you have the option of enrolling in a 401k I highly recommend you do it. It's never too early to start saving for retirement. You might have to do some research on what is the best option and strategy for you, but saving and investing is usually a smart move. You contribute what you want from...

    Store Paygrades

To warrant this long post being in this thread, let me say that interns and EITs are the highest hourly pay grades to my knowledge. I'm not sure what the actual paygrade is because I don't think there's anything higher than an N17 for hourly TMs. Buts most make more than a starting SrTL would...

    Archived Cashier pay vs gsa

Hmm...it used to be on pay stubs, but maybe it's not anymore. There's usually only one line I'm looking for on my pay stubs lol. I know that info is on the pay and benefits website for sure.

    Archived Cashier pay vs gsa

sorry, i was wrong. your position title is on your paycheck (which is indicative of your paygrade).

    Archived Cashier pay vs gsa

Your paygrade is on your paycheck. If its only $0.35, then I would bet it's just a competitive wage raise. The surest way to know would be to ask your HR.

    Archived Cashier pay vs gsa

If a wage increase comes through, minimum or competitive, base pay will be bumped up and all paygrades will rise accordingly. If you are making less than what the new rate is for your paygrades then you will see an increase. If you are already making at least the new rate for your paygrades then...

Archived How long after becoming a TL do you become eligible for benefits?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but if I remember... When you become a TL you have the option to enroll for the rest of the plan year if not already enrolled. It counts as a life changing event. My memory might be a little off though...I'm pretty sure I enrolled when I became a TL which was a...
