Archived Pay raise and hours cut. I have a question here.

In August I'll be one year working for Target. My question is does every year the stores (apparently a lot of Target stores) get that bad when it comes to cutting hours after the raises or it has something to do with the $9 minimum like Walmart did? According to my teammates this hasn't happened before, only this year, so my guess is because of that.

Also I have an unrelated question that has me wondering what that word mean whenever I read it here. What do you guys mean when you say or refer to "Spot"?
