How long do you have to wait to reapply after you formally quit?

No time, depending on how you quit. Also, any bad blood with mgt at your store, may cause a problem.

If you quit without giving and working through your 2 weeks notice, you might be marked as non re-hireable. There is no amount of time that can pass that will make your application "enticing" again. If the situation is peculiar, sometimes someone that knows you might speak in your favor but I have never seen that happen in my store.
