To my IS TL, I really appreciate you saying I should train you. I feel bad I'm going on LOA so I can't help you swing into the role more, but you'll do great as you do with BR. You're making good decisions already with crosstraining other TMs.
To my entire store, I'll miss being beside you all...
There is no way in hell the entire company has to change their passwords for sh*ts and giggles. They breached eHR somehow and spot doesn't want us to know because then they're going to have massive walk outs on their hands. Things just don't add up right here and it's not looking good.
I got the e-mail today, and the lords of Spot have decided I'm not worthy to intern for them. I've given them 2 years, 8 months of my life. Always came in when called if I could. Rarely called out. Busted my tail because I really cared. My leadership at this store ensured me I'd do just fine at...
To that one BR TM: Hi, why yes, I'm a woman. That does not mean I need you to rescue me at all times. Yes, I can bring down an entire stereo system from the top of the ladder by myself. You deciding to come into the stock room and yell "whoa whoa whoa" and try to help me only resulted in me...
Oops, sounds like someone said something they should never have to a TM. Those who absolutely need 32+ can be arranged for with TLs, but that is what I presume brought this change on. For example, I have wide open availability during this winter break, and was scheduled 29.75 hours next week...
Yes, that will be out the door. Bear with it for the first few weeks and then once things straighten out your TL might be able to make adjustments, or availabilities can be switched to those hours only.
The store I'm in now is quite relaxed on shirts, but your pants better be some shade of khaki-like. My former store had a few new TMs show up in not khakis and not nice dress pants and we all just stared their whole shift.
This is something I cannot comprehend - how hard is it to follow a dress...
Basically it's going to pull from the list based on availability. If no one has a perfect match for the shift, no one is schedules and HR will have to manually fill it as best they can. It's all about guest traffic supposedly. It also is a step to prevent favoritism and other such things from...
To the BR TM that I said wasn't a crappy seasonal hire, thanks for walking out 2 hours into your shift. People like you are a joke. It's your own fault for being in a difficult program at school and expecting retail to be easy.
To the BR TM that I was expecting to be fired: Thank you for the...
You mean those like us aren't supposed to run around the store rampant to do it for them? What a novel idea. Seriously though, you have no idea how much this has been irritating me the last few shifts.
Honestly I'm always good for a quick chat about anything - my personal favorite is cat stories and when people tell me why they shop my specific store, usually due to our great staff
To my overnight ETL: Thank you for genuinely sounding concerned when I called in at 5:30am for my 3pm shift and for understanding what the hell I was saying through the tears.
To my actual ETL: Thank you for your condolence's and understanding. Because of you guys being so caring, my drive home...
