    Archived The time has come

Thank you all. My degree is in Social Sciences, don't have much interest in that, I just needed to graduate. I'm leaning towards returning to school for an MBA and luckily my new company will pay for that.

    Archived The time has come

Well after several attempts to use my degree and get a position as an ETL I am leaving the bullseye. Everyone in management knows I have a degree and I made it pretty clear what I wanted when I walked through the door but I am tired of having carrots dangled in front of me while being exploited...

Archived Best work center/position for independent, hard-working individual?

It depends. I think Back room is best, but I have a pretty decent team, so I can do my own thing and not have to worry about compensating for the other TMs which can happen. I always find myself having to finish other peoples workload on the plano team because they slack so much.

Storm will literally pass right over our store and the STL wants us in a 6 tomorrow. He'll be getting a nice surprise from me.

    Archived Presentation TMs

I've been asked to join the pog team by the ETL. Our STL recommended it to me to get out on the floor and potentially move up from there. Can any of you pog members tell me how you like it and what to expect. Any former TMs tell me where you went after you left if you moved up. Thanks guys!

Archived Making a jump from TM to ETL ?

I'm in the same position. I haven't been here nearly as long, less than a year, but I graduated a year ago and I look around and think there's no reason I can't do what they do.

    Archived Hey everyone!

Thank you everyone. I read where they hire ETLs straight out of college, some with no retail experience. I feel like I missed the boat on that. But I'm just a regular team member. I don't know how long I should be here before I try to move to an ETL position.

    Archived Hey everyone!

Hi guys. I started working at Target back in March and just found this site. I really enjoy it, especially because I'm in a high volume store. I just graduated from college last year, so I'm hoping that I can stay on and make it a career.
