I'm relatively new and all and I noticed on the schedule where is usually says what section I work in it says BAT and I've never heard of that. What does that mean?

Sooo I'm new and this might sound like an extremely dumb question but I am a member on hardlines and I will be starting my second day this week. I didn't get much training because of how busy my store is at the moment so I'm lost on a few things. My biggest concern is that I don't really know...
