The only good thing about emptying those stupid cardboard 4 way displays at Walmart is tearing them apart as I put them in the baler. I call it anger management. It can take a while sometimes because the companies use strong glue or double-sided tape to hold the pieces together.

You still get your raise. My first year at Target, they never gave me my review and I still got a raise. The second year, they gave me my review after I received the raise.

It will say on the receipt that all items must be returned in order to get full credit and this includes the unspent gift card. It will also state the return value of each item on the receipt. I've seen it on my receipts when I've bought things that have a gift card promotion.
