Every Target I've gone in since leaving always looks completely empty. Hell, the one near my place has had half the aisle almost all empty cooler for the past two months. Everyone like this?

It used to be true. I would always tell people that during my interviews. Then modernization started, I lost my veterans because hours went down and workloads drastically changed. Letting TMs know where we stood with sales became such a big deal at my store which was funny because my dept was up...

The only case in my experience where the TL was allowed to stay was when I got cafe as CTL. The Cafe TL asked to stay in the store and step down.

Different states have different labor laws.

I never made one while at Target, but my next job had a rule that if it stopped on you, you made the bale. It’s a really nice rule. It’s not hard to do and just takes a few minutes. Thinking back, now I wonder why it put our BRTMs out of commission for 20 mins...

I'd have to see that in writing. Discussing another TM's discipline is one thing, but discussing metrics is another. Based on OP's username, I'd imagine a TL is sharing things like INF% or pick speed or something of that sort. The details are important.

Is it okay or is it against a rule? Leadership shouldn't be discussing any discipline to TMs, but there's nothing that says I can't say that X is performing poorly on a given metric. It is bad form to bring it up though, as you're essentially putting down that employee.

Lmfao audit did either nothing for me or fixed it plus I got an extra two cases that went straight to the back. In theory, audit should be great. Maintain it and the backend should take care of everything for you... but I don’t think anyone is spending less time keeping audit accurate than...

Haha I’ve been in a local chain of grocery stores for the past year and controlling stock is so much smoother. Ordering doesn’t take too long, and we operate with very little backstock with 3 deliveries/week. Target should give their stores a little more control over that side of their business...
