Service & Engagement New POS. Where is she now?

My store seems to be late to the game with no cash in SCO. Sure, we turned cash off months ago, but to my knowledge, we still have coins sitting in the machines themselves. So my question is: what do we do with the coins? Ideally, we'd just spread the coins out to all the registers, but I...

    No more bikes

We sold a bike that was 70% off and I still felt embarrassed that the guest was getting ripped off. Maybe it was for the better though, the steering was so loose that the bike could not be ridden in any way. Hopefully it gets the tuneup it badly needs. At this point: good riddance to bikes.

    Setting up NextGen SCOs?

My store will soon switch over to NextGen Selfcheckout machines and from what I am reading on Workbench, they are going to be banked differently than our current NCR units. I don't want to ask my specific question here in a thread, so can anyone who uses and closes NextGen SCOs in their store...

The touchscreens felt a bit off to me too, glad I'm not the only one to notice.

We called the cash recycler helpline and they were able to order us some more barcode tags!

Specialty [Solved!] Part number for the barcode tags that are on the register bags?

Our Cash Office is running low on the plastic barcode tags that attach to the daily fund bags. We've taped some of the broken tags back onto their zippers, but its not a permanent solution. I'm worried if they keep breaking (as plastic does) that we may lose them or be unable to use the bags...

Service & Engagement Self-checkout social distancing -- or lack thereof

When I'm at at SCO, my line to get them to move is "I'll switch places with you." Its polite, but still lets the guest know that they need to step back.

    My Checkout Holster

I think Zebra makes holsters for them as well, they're gray on the inside instead of red. Ask to see if they can order another one for you.

    Drive Up and OPU process

Make sure that the Fulfillment team is putting separate labels on large items (like soda, diapers and cat litter). We were getting a lot of missed items because our Drive Up team were not noticing these items and thus leaving them behind. Now that we have to scan each bag barcode, this should...
