Yes, that's how I started. At my store they had several hiring events near the store. At least 90% of the people hired were for the store but we did the setup. Built the shelves, unloaded the freight, set the shelves stocked the shelves. That was 14 years ago so it's most likely different now...

There's the problem, 15 years ago when we opened ETLs were always the first to jump on a register so the sales floor associates could do their job... since Cornell took over I've seen ETLs walk by checklanes with a line all the way to the back of the store and just ignore. I'm so glad to be out...

In the same app where you defect items you can scan the barcode on the white / yellow label and it'll tell you who did it. AP also has a report, but they don't like to share anymore...

If you know that far in advance talk to your ETL to change your schedule a little...
