It's baffling to me why inbound will build a giant plain wood pallet (not doubled) of peanut butter that weighs over 2000 pounds whereas other things are put on blue pallets that weigh far less, such as vacuum cleaners or diapers.

If the call-in lines aren't checked you could talk to security and have them flag someone down. I've heard of people doing that.

My DC has several people from stores. I worked with a few personally and they were just as productive as anyone else. Obviously it depends on the person.

One thing I see is new people on reach trucks and triples -- and there's people who have been begging to train on other equipment long before they were ever hired. So infuriating.

Of course you're not allowed to smoke/vape in the warehouse. Even outside during a fire drill someone got told to put their cigarette out and to put their phones away.

Warehouse is on mandatory (has been almost all year), packers leave early every day, outbound is voluntary, not sure on inbound.

Wow, if that was the case there would be certain sections of the building that cost the company thousands per day. In one of my positions I reprint labels and reinstate like it's going out of style.
