Thanks all. You've helped me feel better. I honestly enjoy working at Target and I really need this job. I just hope that my GSTL's realized my sincerity. I'm just going to keep working hard and hope for the best.
Talked to 3 of my GSTL's today and they all assured me I was going to be ok. I was honest with all of them and they know that I work my ass off to try to be kept on as seasonal. So hopefully I'll be alright.
Hey all. Been working at Target for 3 weeks now. Hired as a seasonal but I've been working my butt off trying to get kept on past seasonal and I'm certain that I'm performing well. Good amount of red cards, great speed, always on time and I even tacked on a few hours of my shift to help out...
you're overreacting. Of course they don't hate you. Why would they? If you have pharmacy education and experience i'd definitely cross train into pharmacy..seems like a good idea..and as far as I know red cards are all luck..dont stress over them
Quick update. My orientation went smooth just as you guys said. My trainer seems to be a pretty cool chick and I have my first cashier training shift tomorrow 12PM-5PM. It should go smoothly considering I've worked as a Cashier before at BJ's. I have a crazy schedule for black friday. Hope I can...
I have my orientation at Target tomorrow afternoon. I googled what to expect and came across this site/thread and I have to say you guys made me feel less nervous!
Excited to start!
