So after the 23rd of this month i will no longer work at Target. I am very fortunate that i found a job in the field i went to school for (information technology). The past 2 and a half years have had their ups and downs at Target. This page has been very helpful for me. I wish everyone the best...
Hey guys, when are the card readers going to start allowing guests to use their chip cards as debits? All the chip cards besides the new redcards automatically run as credit. I've had people try to pay on their redcard with a chip card and it says "account number not allowed" or something along...
So can anyone post the new changes to price matching? Basically what stores will we and won't we match items. I ask this because the other day someone called corporate since we werent price matching I think gamestop.
At my store, the couponers are now getting gift receipts or trying to, so when they return their items we can't see they used a coupon. Their pulling all sorts of tricks now.
It's as if each store itself has their own interpretation on the coupon policy. Apparently a trick some of the couponers are doing in my area is they're asking for gift receipts for their items.
Thanks for the input guys. Especially at my store they would clean the shelves or buy like a ton of giftcards for restaurants or other things and return all their items and get a giftcard so they could buy something at target. Trust me, I know when someone uses alot of coupons to save vs...
So my store is getting REALLY strict with coupons (which I think they should've been doing all along). At our store now, guests can only use a max of 10 coupons per transaction and now especially if the guests who traditionally would coupon, we first have to look at all of their coupons and...
Our registers were super slow and pdas weren't working. Glad to know my store wasn't the only one. Btw, gift cards last night needed an approval code. 3 or 4 of our registers completely crashed and or froze, so it was interesting nonetheless.
My store just got mytime this week and I tried checking my schedule and it wouldn't let me at the computer in the store office. Is there a reason for this or should I talk to HR?
Hey guys, wanted to know some tips to get Redcards. Any suggestions on how to improve and not annoy the guests and not sound like a robot that's programmed to say the same exact thing over and over to each guest.
Ok cool, thanks. I wanted to know just in case something like that comes up in the future. This is probably a dumb question but is it right to explain why you called out? It seems more respectful.
So if you're sick or for some reason can't make it to work, what exactly is the process for calling in and saying you can't work? Do you have to speak with a LOD or ETL?
Quick question, can a guests regular debit card be entered in manually at the register if the card reader is not working/the magnetic strip on their card won't go through? If so, how?
