    Trailer unload time

I guess it depends on what the tm's are doing during the unload. Our tm's sort the 4's, 8's, 10's, 11's and 17's (if necessary) on the line, in addition to pulling shoes and hanging from the folded softlines repacks. If there is a lull in the action because pallets needing to come out, we also...

    Corrective Actions

What is the proper process for Corrective Actions? Are they supposed to be written before the TM or TL is called into to an office to discuss?

    Raises??

TL's at our store received raises. TM's did not.

    Team Voice Survey

Do they take the TM survey's seriously at all?

    How are y’all’s stores?

Our leadership decided that the inbound team should not unload the trucks. The Leadership team has started doing it. Inbound works freight for their scheduled time and leaves for the time being. As you can imagine, it is not going well.

    Inbound process

Wow. We only have 1 thrower and 3 people on the line. One works the P2 side of the line and sorts the 4's during and the 3's and combos after the unload. We have 2 people working the P1/Market side, with the plastics/chem person also pushing and with the market person pulling out shoes...

    Vacation Accrual during the Pandemic

I was wondering if Target has or will lift the vacation accrual limit at least for awhile during this challenging time. My store needs help. They are asking all of us to work up to 50 hours per week for OPU's and SFS. I'm willing and able, but I will hit my vacation accrual limit on my next...

Sounds like what the old "flow team" used to do on a daily basis.....

    Softlines truck super sort

At my store we do things a little bit differently. We do stage our softlines repacks by number on pallets, but before they even get on those pallets, we have an inbound person (formerly softlines flow) working the end of line that opens all of the repacks as they get to her. This person pulls...

    MEGATHREAD 2018-2019 Store Modernization Megathread

Thank you. That's what I thought. During the majority of the year, we had 2 people breaking out softlines. For the past 3 months or so, they have 1 scheduled for a 6 hour shift, and rarely gets finished. They have not let any other inbound person help her. We do have a couple of inbound...

    MEGATHREAD 2018-2019 Store Modernization Megathread

I have a question regarding the scheduling of the softlines breakout and whose responsibility it is. Is this an inbound responsibility using inbound hours, or is it a Style responsibility using Style hours? It seems that there is some dispute at my store as to which hours and under what...

    MEGATHREAD 2018-2019 Store Modernization Megathread

In the past, we generally were informed of an added GM truck at least 48 hours in advance. Has this changed? The inbound team at our store found out about 8 o'clock this morning that there in an added truck tomorrow at 6am and that they are all expected to be there. Is this something that is...

Archived We don't sort repacks now?!

We sort all repacks except the HBA and Cosmetic repacks. Boys/Girls/Infants/Women's shoes are removed from the repacks on the line because those shoes are not integrated into those softlines areas. The extra time we take in back during/after the unload for the others really seems to make a big...

    MEGATHREAD 2018-2019 Store Modernization Megathread

I would certainly repsect the TL for actually being able to do the job, and respect what they had to say about it. However, not all TL's know how everything works in their respective areas. for example, if a TL with zero breakout knowledge (can be hardlines repacks or softlines) tells me...

Corporate is most definitely narrowing the talent pool with the way they want to schedule.
