So after defying the odds and finding someone to take my Black Friday and Thanksgiving shifts, as suggested by HR #1, HR #2 proceeds to tell me that they were instructed to not approve any Swap for those days by HR #1. This can't really be a thing, can it?

We've tried ignoring it, every TL seems to be in the store for that hour (and all non-closing ones clock out as soon as it ends) and anytime one of them sees us doing any actual work they tells us to leave it where it is "because it will still be there in an hour" and don't leave us alone until...

My store does them for an hour, in which no work is to be done. It's pretty obnoxious
