I recently heard (at least at one store) that they're not going to be cashing out sick time anymore starting some time in June. Anyone else hear this and/or know an exact date?

I pretty much answered neutral on all. This survey irritated the hell out of me because pretty much every question focused on the DTL/regional people, like I even know who half of them are much less what environment they promote. I gave my STL positive ratings, but I was irritated that there...

Myself and one other person were asked to be digital advisors, but neither of us are electronics or FT. To be honest, I have no idea what this "position" is supposed to be, as we've had my devices for a long time and basically everyone but brand new TM's know how to use it.

June of last year. By the time the raise goes through in 2 weeks it will be 11 months.

I got an Ex with a 3.7% raise. No idea how that happened; I haven't even technically been there a full 12 months. I'm taking my $0.33 cents enthusiastically, though!

WOW. If that were the case, everyone at my store would be fired. Most of the TM's are super tight knit and hang out all the time. I text/have coworkers on Instagram and talk to them outside of work on the regular. That's a crazy rule.

My store has been red/yellow since I've worked there. We have a few areas that are usually green (front lanes included - we've somehow been killing it with red cards). The new threshold gave us a bump and we were 1% under green...then dipped. Now we're about 2% or 3% under. We should just give...

Okay, my store is saying the same thing...except the "change it at any cost!" bit. Ours is change it within reason...if it's too big of a difference call GSA/GSTL over. We've started doing price checks again. If it's our bad, we give it to them. Otherwise, no. I would be completely dumbstruck...

I work in California as well, and on our paper explaining our allotted breaks it says 45 minutes. Interesting.

I didn't even do BTS last year - oops. Only thing I want to comment on is OP's complaint about 45 minute lunch breaks...why is that a problem? We're legally allowed 45 minutes if we work over 5 hours...is it a state-by-state thing?

Yesterday I had a woman say the ad for pet food was BOGO 50% off. I scanned it with the my device and pulled up the ad, which was 50% off dental treats. She insisted "that's not what the sign said." Yeah, okay lady. I didn't give it to her cos eff that.

I was still brand new when inventory happened last year so I managed to avoid that. Hoping I'll avoid it this year, too; it does not sound like a good time.

My store did that reset back in October. It was about 3 days of overnight shifts. Total hassle but it looked nice when they were first set.

My store has to get 20 a day (we never do). It's ridiculous. I ask when I'm backing up but 50% of people I ask have one and don't want to use it. The rest don't want it. I don't push it - the goal is to get them to come back, not complain about harassment.
