Archived Are some team lead positions easier than others?

I feel like GSTLs have it a bit easier because LOD will always come deal with difficult guests at our store and they also have GSAs and very strong cashiers to lean on. Plus other TLs go over a lot when they need a supervisor if they're nowhere to be found. But it's not the job it's their team...

    Archived New store tips?

Grand opening tomorrow (Canadian store).. Have been in the soft open phase. Think routines are starting to come but it's still a lot of confusion in all areas of the store I think. Personally, I don't really like it. I miss my kids, my yoga class, my clean house... Instead I'm tired, working...

    Archived New store tips?

Does anyone have any advice on just surviving new store openings? I feel like everyday there are things that don't get done-- not enough people/time, lots of guests, all new TMs still learning... we are doing crazy hours and I feel like I am struggling!

    Archived Team lead weekends

Price accuracy and presentation team leads have weekends off (the reasoning we've been given is that they work early mornings and have more work Mon-Fri). The rest of us generally get every second weekend off.

    Archived Starbucks Team Leader

Hey, I am also one of the new Starbucks TLs in Canada. It sounds like we're a bit further ahead than you, so I will share my experiences so far. Expect to help out A LOT with planograms and fixture set up at first, then possibly even pushing freight etc. It is important to remember that even...
