Good advice but, this is from 2024 original poster might not even work for Target anymore.

Sadly cross training may be the only way to get more hours. Definitely talk to your ETL. College will starting soon so, once school starts your hours may pick up. The kids availability usually changes once school starts especially if they go away to college.

What are the kids scheduled under? Is it market? Or is it another department and they are being pulled to help out.
