    Were your leaders ok with you leaving early? Did you have to ask permission beforehand. Depending on what department you work in it might be better to let leaders know before they make the schedule so, they can make sure there is coverage for the time you will not be there.

    I would put in a request for that day. You Can request to get off early that day. I would also speak with whatever leader makes the schedule. Tell the leader you don’t need the day off just need to leave by a certain time.

    The only ones who can see your shift are the ones who aren’t going to go into overtime taking your shift. I get 34-40 hours a week so, I never see anyone’s posted shifts.     When I first started all I did was closing shifts and weekends. At my store that’s how most people start off. If you want some weekends off I suggest requesting some off.

    When you go around tellling anyone and everyone that you’re leaving Target for better opportunities it gives the impression that you don’t care about your job or Target. Why should leaders care about you and give you a good raise if you don’t care.
