    Changes to dress code

I really don't think a person would be fired for taking a target shirt out of a box in hr office. In my store it's done all the time. The box is there and team members take them. If hr tells you not to do it, I would question why are they there and why is it team members that have been employed...

    Changes to dress code

I honestly don't think it would be a problem unless they were looking to get rid of you for other reasons. I know this is done all the time in my store. And yes, new and old team members walk around with the new shirts on. Although each store is different in their rules, I would challenge those...

    Changes to dress code

I also see the boxes of tees in hr. I just go in and take one or two. No one says anything. I notice tms on the floor all are wearing them and they aren't newbies. Wait until there's no one in the office and then snag one.

    Changes to dress code

I just saw an article on line that said Target will be giving team members one red shirt and 50% off blue jeans. Also, corporate is going to now start offering 20% off all store brand clothes. I don't know when this will happen. Maybe this summer.

MEGATHREAD The On-Demand Team Member (ODTM) Thread

Can anyone tell me where to find info on going to on demand employment? Can't seem to find anything in the handbook on line unless I'm just looking in the wrong place. Thanks.

    Does Target hire Senior Citizens?

We have several seniors at our store. Many retired teachers in fact. It seems most are hired as cashiers. I'm a senior and work GM and consumables. Hard work but always look at it as a paid gym membership. 😊

My store started playing Christmas music yesterday.

At least you have music. Our store is SILENT year round!

    Pay

Has anyone heard anything about raises? Target just announced what a great profit they made in the last quarter. Just wondering if they are going to be giving the same crappy amounts.

    $1.00 extra from 10/22/2023 to 01/06/2024

Our store also isn't allowing overtime nor are we getting any additional cash for weekend work like last year. The uboats in our store are already piling up. Extra trucks and filled uboats from night before. Truck line people can't do truck until they push uboats from day before. So, they don't...

Anyone quit Target for much better retail stores (Macy's, Kohls, & Primark), and even better opportunities like for pursuing jobs in teaching

Some of what your saying just doesn't sound right. Like the prices of food and coffee.

    $1.00 extra from 10/22/2023 to 01/06/2024

Just spoke to a couple of leads yesterday about extra cash. They said they haven't heard a thing about it. Looks like we may not be getting it this year. Last year we got an extra dollar for working weekends.

    Calling off through mytime

Just spoke to our HR person yesterday. She confirmed we are to use the app. She did say that only ETLs can see it. Bummer for TLs.

So are we permitted to use the app to call off or not?

Merit Raises & Reviews: 2023 Edition

Same here. I've been at Target 7 years and $15.61. No bonuses here either. They figure if you don't like it leave. They can replace us with someone at $15.

Merit Raises & Reviews: 2023 Edition

So, with inflation, a 2% raise is something like a 4% pay cut. I'm so excited.😑
