    MEGATHREAD Flexible Fulfillment

Question about supplies, especially for leaders who actually order SFS supplies on SAP: If you put an order through for, say bubble wrap and you order the maximum amount, if you create an additional order for it will it overwrite the first one? (Assume they’re within the same cutoff period.)...

We started out slow as well, with a moderate increase around midday. After about 3 PM the floodgates opened, but even when I left four hours later we had received less than 70% of forecast (in line with the other stores in the district). I shudder to see what we face tomorrow morning—even with...

I’ve been wondering about this too! Anyone know?

    MEGATHREAD Flexible Fulfillment

I have the same experience, although I pick as much as I can lately since we’ve been cutting it close to goal times. Speaking of INF, how does everyone else’s store do? Lately we have been green (usually around 6.5-7%) most days, while other stores in our district hover around 13% on average...

    Thanks, I’ll try that!

Does anyone know how to access the Ship from Store helpline? It’s called STS and is separate from Help Desk/CSC. I used to have the number but have since misplaced it. I can’t find any contact info on Workbench

I believe it. We had over 225% of forecast on Thursday and 300% on Friday.

    MEGATHREAD Flexible Fulfillment

Basically it’s the same difference between a unit (a single unit of a single DPCI) of merchandise sold and a transaction. We talk about units in SFS because they give a more accurate picture of the workload than orders, because an order can contain any number of items. (On average it works out...

    MEGATHREAD Flexible Fulfillment

Is anyone else having issues with items dropping out of orders while packing? Today is the second day in a row it happened. After I had packed a cart I noticed there was one item remaining, with no collates left (for that cart). I looked it up in Order Inquiry to find out it was part of the...

There should be a designated payroll work center for SPUs. It’s under Backroom and is called OPU - Pick. As of last week (or the week before—I forget) the SFS forecast has an SPU Forecast tab. I take it with a grain of salt, but it’s usual for seeing where in the week your workload should be...

We’re in the same boat. Way more people are here than we need for the SFS workload. If peak week is going to be anything like this, we’re way overscheduled.

    MEGATHREAD Flexible Fulfillment

This is probably a stupid question, but how do you know what your unit max is aside from looking at the order flow hourly report? Does it show up somewhere on the forecast that I'm glossing over?

Does anyone know how to get the second printer (if you were sent an additional one) up and running? Ours is powered and connected to the network, but we have no idea how to use it for collates. There was supposed to be a test collate print, but we never saw one

This is why you have to be very careful if and whenever you "pre-pack" by scanning in the collates. The virtual backlog will now send stores more orders if you've processed all the ones you have, so making it look like they've been done when they haven't been really sets you further behind.

It seems that all of our Zebra myDevices bypass the 'scan child location' step when packing. I didn't discover it until I was training some folks the other day. Luckily it displays the exact cart location at the top, so TMs new to packing will be able to find the items.

Archived HELP! Reverse Logistics: Problem with merch sweep

Thanks for the response. I scoured Workbench for how to do it, but yeah: only store-to-store transfers are covered. I'm doubting that the DC knows how things work exactly.

Archived HELP! Reverse Logistics: Problem with merch sweep

We recently got word from the distribution center that we sent back merchandise for a sweep that wasn't supposed to be sent on it. (No idea what that could have been.) To fix this, they're telling us to create a transfer on Workbench. How in the world do you do that? I know you normally scan in...

    Archived Ship from Store TL

In our store it's looking like SFS is simply going to split off from Backroom and the Backroom TL is going to lead it. Plano is an interesting workcenter to pull from... Ours is scheduled for an additional pack station as well. It's a smart move for stores that receive an especially high...

    Archived Ship from Store TL

So it has been implemented in other stores! Realistically we should have had a dedicated TL last year, so I'm happy to hear it's happening finally. Did the backroom TMs own SPUs or did the SFS team take care of those?

    Archived Ship from Store TL

Is anyone else's store creating a SFS (or Flexible Fulfillment?) Team Leader position? Ours definitely will be starting this Q4, but there are very few details about it so far. The only thing known for sure is that it will no longer fall under Backroom leadership and will be its own...
