    I am sorry for you and your team’s loss. Our store lost a TM a few years back in the store. I know it changed those team members that witness it. I still remember coming to work a finding out. It still hits hard every year. The TM that we lost was well loved by everyone.

    I have access to my closing experts. However any attendance or performance conversation I have for another leader I will copy and paste. I usually send the email to that leader and HR.

    Higher standard is true. Been closing TL for three years. I almost feel like moving up to ETL from Closing TL is impossible.

    All of this. As a TL, our ETL-HR expects us to have conversations about attendance. He did nothing wrong there. If there is a situation, where you wanted to speak to HR about the circumstances behind your absences, that is up to you. The TL still is required to give a PIP,CA or Final to the TM.

    Closing lead here as well been in role for 3 years. It is definitely starting to feel the expectations are much. We were doing so well then our truck process became broken. Fixing that to get caught up on everything. TBH, I feel like most of the leadership team feels like this.

    I could be wrong as well as ASANT, but if you are not a lead already, I don’t think you can transfer into a lead position. I am sure you could apply for that position internally. I would definitely reach out to your HR Leader.

    Like Plano’s said the questions are the same. Just remember to make your answers as global as possible. I moved from Food & Beverage Leadwe to Closing Lead. My SD at the time had me interview for a Senior Team Lead position when one became available so I could start training for LOD shifts.

    COVID-19 and 90 day probation period

    The biggest thing is not to let your attendance get out of control. Don’t be late. We had to let a TM go before 90 day because of attendance. It was because of the combined lateness and absences. Attendance is my best pet peeve, but it’s not the the call offs.
