    School leave or any leave

    When it comes to anything health, FMLA is your best option. It is in fact for medical reasons, including mental health. But your doctor would have to fill out paperwork. It will protect your position, and avg hours and will be paid. Personal leave is an option but unpaid and at the store discretion.

    Intermittent family leave?

    There was at a point a family care leave, for 30 days, if that is still an option. The leave site will tell you what leaves are available to you. I do want to stress when it says employer approval it means the leave administration not store level management- only personal leaves are at store...
