When I took over Plano, there had been POGs that had not been set for longer than that. We legit had empty aisles. And the pogss that had been set in the wrong departments.

In my store we have 5-6 Plano experts who do Plano and are scheduled in designated areas when there are no hours. Modernization has worked in my store, and I agree my backroom is cleaner since we don’t leave the backstock or trash for other teams.

For softlines? We are 1-2 weeks ahead for about a year now, maybe longer, I was Plano/pricing TL for years so it’s something I make sure happens.. and if you set earlier than you push right to the floor and don’t waste time backstocking.
