If you have an opportunity to leave Target, do it now.

I heard an ETL say (just yesterday) that the Pricing TL position is going to disappear in all low volume stores, and maybe even many medium volume stores (not in any Super Targets though). He didn't know who would then be the TL of the pricing team. (I don't know where he got this information...

Archived Hearing that most Macy's stores will open at 8pm on Thanksgiving Day...

Has anyone heard when Spot will announce our opening time for Thanksgiving?

Archived Hearing that most Macy's stores will open at 8pm on Thanksgiving Day...

Exactly. At this point Spit is to blame, not the TM calling in for wanting to enjoy Thanksgiving with family.

Archived Hearing that most Macy's stores will open at 8pm on Thanksgiving Day...

I can just use an excuse like I ate bad turkey and have food poisoning. I will not get fired. I will get put on the sh!t list, sure. But not fired.* We had 3 people who called in for their opening shifts on thanksgiving last year, and as far as I know none got fired for it.

Archived Hearing that most Macy's stores will open at 8pm on Thanksgiving Day...

On Wednesday our SrTL (who is in charge of the scheduling) was working on two possible schedules for Thanksgiving - one with a 6pm store open and the other with an 8pm open. I have asked a couple ETLs what their guess is regarding when we will open and they both said it definitely will be no...

Archived I'm getting close to that point where I just stop caring

After a few years of getting EX reviews, working my butt off, putting up with always increasing workload (but no extra hours or TMs in Market to help out), I've given up. I probably read my Kindle and play on my iPhone a few hours most shifts. Another Market TM has been doing this for a while...

Archived Pfresh Workload almost impossible with these hours

They cut our hours in market by 20% or so about a month ago. No more mid-shifts, at all. I skip most of the cleaning routines now. I haven't been told to do that, but I have been told (a few times) that our focus is on instocks and guest-service..... for the entirety of the grocery aisle, not...

Archived Expect more, and more and more and.....

I am the PA at my store and on weekends I very regularly unload the truck all by myself (on Mon-Fri I still have to help the receiving TM do it). It takes a solid 30 mins for me to take temps, do paperwork, put pallets away, get empty pallets to put on truck, etc. Its always been like this at my...

Archived Low volume = PA does TL stuff?

Oh yea, I forgot to mention. Due to the increase in sales in P-Fresh last year, our store is able to hire another PA. The position has been open for nearly 2 months so far! I approached three Flow TM's (who I knew wanted to shift from Flow to Salesfloor) and asked if they would be interested in...

Archived Low volume = PA does TL stuff?

I've been the PA for three years at my store.* At first I loved my role but now I have grown to dislike it a lot. There is just a ridiculous amount of tasks I'm expected to do in each day (My shifts are typically from 6-2.30 or 6.30-3.00). Apart from the usual routines (culling, TPCing...
