Archived KrebsOnSecurity Breaks Story on Target Data Breach

Agreed. It's actually really easy to do exchanges, and if you're over the $70 limit and obviously have a legitimate problem (and we've checked with AP to make sure you didn't just grab something from the shelf), a GSA or TL can override the difference in department if absolutely necessary.

Archived KrebsOnSecurity Breaks Story on Target Data Breach

You can't use a passport to apply for a red card, either. The only thing you can use a passport for is a form of ID for buying alcohol etc.

Archived What VIPs will lose their jobs since the breach? What company changes can we expect?

Passwords have to be changed by January 13th... so you probably wouldn't notice until then, if there aren't already signs up all over the place like there are at mine.

Archived Um...Do they want me to stay? Do they want me to ask for REDcards?

I really recommend telling people about Cartwheel instead of Red Cards. I swear that Cartwheel could make more money than red cards ever did. I buy so many things with cartwheel that I wouldn't otherwise, just 'cause they're 10% off or more.

Archived How to Get Into Target: I Keep getting rejected from the site! HELP!!!

Do you happen to have the contact info of the guy you interviewed with, or a way to get in touch with him? It sounds like he might be the best way to get back in the game.

Archived Trying to get to eHR at home

??? When I click on the link there, to Inside TGT, it says the web page is not available. Just to clarify, we're talking about checking our paycheck when at home, right? Outside of eHR?

How can you see your paycheck on targetpayandbenefits?? I just see generic information.

    Archived Extreme Couponers

Seriously... she doesn't even check to see if the items and terms match with each coupon. Plus at the end it looks like she's just hand-entering manufacturer's and target coupons when obviously the register indicates she has gone over the allowed amount. I mean, when people do this, if they...

Archived Setting up email on my iPhone (Server name?)

I'm able to check my email on my laptop at home, though. Thanks for the responses, everyone. Understood.

Archived Setting up email on my iPhone (Server name?)

He doesn't usually; it was an email just to me. I've never seen it in a different context. I guess I don't really understand why "working off the clock" lightly, like this, is such a bad thing? If it's my choice and I realize I'm not getting paid for it, I figure it's basically like volunteer...

    Archived Extreme Couponers

I don't mind these folks when they're obviously just trying to save money. But we get so much coupon fraud at our store that we had to change our policy on refunds when the guests used coupons. We'd get guests who would buy a billion things with coupons and gift cards, then come return the...

Archived Setting up email on my iPhone (Server name?)

I don't really consider it working off the clock. I wouldn't be sending emails while I'm at home or anything. It'd just mean easier access to information that I'd need while I'm at work. Besides, it wouldn't be any more work than the education I often receive on this forum.

Archived Setting up email on my iPhone (Server name?)

Hey guys! I was wondering if any of you could help me connect my target email to my iPhone. I know I can do it, because one of my fellow GSAs at my store recently sent me an email with the signature "sent from my iPhone" at the bottom. I'm pretty sure he's never been a TL; he's just worked...

    Archived GSA Responsibilities?

Our store has been needing to cut hours since we recently suffered some loss (our power went out several times, and that meant we lost a LOT of refrigerated food). That said, I haven't been regularly scheduled for 32+ hours a week since basically my first month, way before that loss. Maybe I...

Archived How strict is your store/HR on dress code?

I think our store's rules are pretty reasonable - we basically just have to wear a khaki color-range bottom and a visibly red color-range top. So you could wear a red top and a small cropped black or gray cardigan over it if the red was still the main color on your top half. Most people do red...

    Archived GSA Responsibilities?

Sigh. I wish I were getting 32+/wk. I'm supposed to. Sometimes the part-time cashiers get more hours than I do. -_- I've had several weeks where I was literally at 20hrs. I've heard the other GSAs are getting the same.

    Archived GSA Responsibilities?

At my store there are 2 GSTLs and 3 GSAs, but we're never scheduled at the same time, unless we're in different workcenters or there's a visit/other event. GSAs get Guest Service shifts all the time which basically means we do backup for the GSA/GSTL scheduled as well as doing all the Guest...

Archived How to have a productive closing?

If you're concerned about handling all of those things while you're actually in the process of closing, don't be - it's usually pretty hard to get a bunch of RCs in the last couple hours before close (at least in my experience), and as has been previously mentioned, TMs definitely know by this...

Archived Flexible Fulfillment? Anyone launch yet?? Deets!

Our store has had FF since early October and we've worked out most of the kinks. Our store is really small, though, and we don't have much storage space at all on the floor. Because of that we keep a bunch of larger holds downstairs in receiving, which makes the guests wait longer, and it can...

Archived Bye Bye MAX FSTL.... Hello MY TIME........

My store is still on MAX, too. I hope we switch over soon!! I'd really love to be able to view my schedule from home. I'm always so paranoid that I've written it down wrong or forgotten a shift switch...
