Redeye...thanks for asking...but, nope...nothing heard back yet. Hearing was last Wednesday..went up in person...they said 7-10 days. In a holding pattern till I hear. It's either get a job, any job quick, ...or, if I do get it, then keep hunting for a good salary like I have been, and head...

    Archived Calls for Back-up

We had no salesfloor until mid shift...10 am.. Process teams responded. Most of the time...we were given numbers at the huddle and GSTL/GSA would call out the number and you went up to do your turn no questions asked. It seemed fair till tm's figured out how to get out of their turn...no...

    Archived Label strip tool

Not sure about that one...I always used a pen cap or a key to place the strips. However, you can search TIPP under various key words....takes time, but, it may yield success. I know the tool you are talking about....I just never used it.

my trick! Stand in your aisle, face back wall. Turn to the aisle on left...start at main raceway and write your name in the air. If you can start your name at main raceway, it is standard. Turn to your right aisle and write your name in the air...note, you start writing at the back wall...

Archived Presentation team spending more time working the sales floor?

I always kept an eye on progress of sales planners each week and made sure that I got with TL's at the very begininning of the week to hear their plans. I thought it best to try to get them help in advance than challenge them mid-week and possibly compromise our scores. Typically tho, in our...

    Archived 5 years...I'm done too.

(not bothering to dignify davegt40 with a reply)...I went to hearing in person. They did record and copy my nine months of notes. I am not sure if Target called in later on for their part. I was told 7 to 10 days for a decision. I hope they realize they did me wrong, and allow me the dignity...

Archived Where can I find workload estimates for Plano and Pricing?

Please note tho....Adjacency calendar hours change week to week. If you check hours for 10/30 on 9/30 they will be low. Check same week 10/30 on 10/23 and you will see a big jump in hours. And always plan for revision hours ...they def don't make it to adjacency calendar until week...

    Archived 5 years...I'm done too.

Well, it took them more than 6 months to get me out but, finally I threw in the towel. Probably not a smart idea since I do not have another job lined up. I had been reading the writing on the wall since January, but, just could not wait them out to coach me out. One morning, 5 minutes after...

    Archived Cardboard trash issue

oh and yes, my ETL logistics said it would be a good idea to keep our plano cardboard seperate so that there is no confusion.....seriously. I am all about it too....cuz they really need to see what it's gonna be like when i am not helping out with the store cardboard that I don't squawk to the...

    Archived Cardboard trash issue

Thank you tellmeaboutatime! You said it just right! and that's what I mean....damn, it takes just a few minutes to throw some stuff away....and sometimes they spend more time "pointing fingers" and avoiding the extra work. I can't tell ya how many times I do our garbage and whatever else is...

    Archived Cardboard trash issue

LOL! Well, we do our own too...but, sometimes the store/truck produces so much trash it isn't finished until later in the day, so you do have to wait your turn. But, you can't stand there with your cardboard all day...lol! So, your intention is to come back when bale is done, or flow is...

    Archived Cardboard trash issue

Seriously, does any other store out there actually sort trash by department so that it makes sure each specific department does its own trash? I got hit on this today, and was told because the flow team "cardboard" handler had to do a couple of our carts of trash (put aside becuase a bail...

    Archived Not brand???

well, God bless my store...I have been wearing a discreet pin for over a year now and no one has said a word to me. I would like to think it is simply a sign of respect for what it means to me, and i sincerely appreciate not being hassled about it. I have sat with DTL's with it on also, and...

Archived Presentation team spending more time working the sales floor?

well, it seems to me this can only go on for so long before scores in our store start dropping drastically. I just sometimes look at our guests and say to myself...how can you find anything you are looking for (particularly in shoes, always a mess). But, our sales are stable and consistent and...

Archived Presentation team spending more time working the sales floor?

Guest service is a given, no doubt. But, on the other hand, we are given so many hours to complete a certain amount of work...lately, it just seems we are coming up short and stressing out by end of week to make sure we are 100% done. I sure could have used that 1/2 hour on the register...

Archived Presentation team spending more time working the sales floor?

Hey: TL of Presentation here. Got coached today after the mid-day huddle that my team is not showing up for the mid-day fast enough. Just wondering if other plano teams out there are spending their days doing sales floor work...guest service, ringing, pushing CAFS etc....I find it a bit...
