    the W-4 has to do with your federal income taxes. The DE-4 is same form, but for the State of California. Your not required to fill out the DE-4, but the state recommends it to prevent potentially owing the state money at the end of the year.

    It varies state to state, just like hours you work before a meal must be taken, and how many days in a row you can work. Some states have more restrictions then others. Some states, like mine, have no restrictions on hours worked between shifts and numbers of days you can work in a row.

    LOD's let Cash office tm in and out of the Cash Office in my store as well, as they are the only one's who have the code to the safe and they are the only one with the key to lock the inner door and the code to the alarm which has to be armed when the cash office isn't occupied per best practice.
