Archived Does your LOD work off the clock?

My guess is that my LOD hits overtime despite taking longer lunches or clocking in later, hence them asking her to clock out early.

Archived Does your LOD work off the clock?

No chance in hell I'm calling the hotline. That's a surefire way to get my LOD transferred or performanced out.

She closes five days a week so I'm not sure if she can.

Archived Does your LOD work off the clock?

My closing LOD (who is an hourly TL) usually clocks out at least 10 minutes before she actually stops working. She'll clock out, then write her email, go to cash office, help people on the floor, etc. She told me that the higher ups make her do it to avoid hitting overtime. I get the impression...

MEGATHREAD Hang Me (The Softlines Thread)

Mossimo has a lot of t shirt dresses right now. Aren't those house dresses? This one sells pretty well in my store: Women's Ruffle Sleeve T-Shirt Dress - Mossimo Supply Co.™ Burgundy -...

MEGATHREAD Hang Me (The Softlines Thread)

@Jenna120 We also have a "no limit" policy at our store and the problem is not remembering how many items the guest has, it's with the fitting room being overcrowded and as the other poster mentioned, theft. We're no longer allowed to count guest's items or remind them to take all of the...

Archived Target's newest brands: Heyday, Original Use, Wild Fable

I'd be surprised if they replaced Xhiliration with this brand. Xhiliration makes the second highest sales in my store.

Archived TM's: What is your favorite way to be recognized?

Personally, I don't really care about the little gifts or recognition in huddles. It just feels good to have a TL/ETL recognize that I've been working hard and say good job right after I complete a task.

    Archived Bring Z-racks back!

There is no consistency to any of these rules. I'm starting to think that Target just likes to change up things for the hell of it.

No, I've never even heard of that. It sounds wonderful.

    Archived Bring Z-racks back!

Counterproductive, inefficient....stupid. Yep. And neither. There is no official Fitting room attendant, we just take turns and rotate throughout our shift. but we don't really have to follow any rules per se. My STL had a talk with me recently and said that... No joke... She could care less...

Did corporate think about this rule for more than 30 seconds? The clothes aren't going to disappear just because you get rid of the z rack or cart. It has to pile up somewhere!

But your hands can only hold so many clothes... how is your FR desk not piled to the ceiling???

    Archived Bring Z-racks back!

Well that's interesting! But it makes more sense for the clothes to be in a closet than in a bunch of shopping carts. Our ETL told us we would get some racks in the closet but so far it hasn't happened. I could see something like this working as long as there are enough people scheduled in...

Sounds about right. The hardlines TMs are really starting to resent us for having to stay after their shift to help pick up clothes.

That's impossible. Where do guests put their clothes?

    Archived Bring Z-racks back!

Has anyone else's store gotten rid of the z rack in the fitting room? Corporate has asked us to get rid of the z-rack and replace it with multiple shopping carts. But of course, the z rack can hold a lot more clothes while taking up much less space. With this new system, we have several shopping...

Archived anyone have a crush on anyone at their store?

I have a crush on a Starbucks TM. Now I know what people mean when they say baristas "flirt" with you. He's probably not really flirting, he's just so sweet and polite. Usually I joke around with TMs but with him I just fumble with my change and smile awkwardly.
