my old store was like your current store. only a handful of people hung out. i still have like a few really close friends from when i worked there.
at my current store tho EVERYONE hangs out outside of work. there's never not a time when we're all going out to dinner or hanging out at someone's...
the market team has a lot more responsibility than they did before E2E. We have to do everything from A to Z while also helping guests. At my store, they quickly realized that the market team is constantly busy so they switched it back to instocks doing our research. It's one less task we have...
i think that's where our problem is. we are a non-stop store. even on non c&s days we're constantly busy with our GM truck. the past couple of days have been pretty chill and slow but it's picking up again to where we cannot back up. our TL has actually mentioned to us that it's fine if we dont...
we have on PA who does this all the time at my store. like i get it guest first, i was hardlines before, but market is totally different from hardlines. he will go up there anytime they call and it's like dude no you have shit on the floor.
i have a question for all you market team members: since we started E2E are you guys still responsible for answering back up calls?
at my store we were basically exempt from answering back up calls because we're always busy or we always have time sensitive product out on the floor. there's...
you should ask the TM or even the TL on how you can improve your zone in pets and sports.
generally you pull one or two rows up and face everything forward so brands and stuff should always be facing out.
our store manages to finish it in 4ish hours. so we come in at 5 am and immediately push freezer. we get it twice a week, mondays we get 2 pallets and then fridays we get three pallets stacked. since there's normally like 7 of us there we all bowl freezer finish that up and then we split up. 2...
go towards market.... like two of the people who worked backroom moved to market and they seem pretty happy albeit a little stressed over our TL, but happy.
i wouldn't doubt it but i also dont think we do lol im only worried about it because when he gets on our case everyone else does as well. he's just a bad case of mr grumps.
he's trying to become an ETL but idk how long that'll last...
the weird part is that he will be super friendly one day and talk to us about video games and music and just life in general and then the next day he'll be like "I'M FIRING ALL OF YOU FOR NOT MEETING MY EXPECTATIONS!"
so our sr tl for our department is a psychopath. he has these high as hell expectations for all of us and if we dont meet them he threatens to coach or as of recently term his whole team. we just started the E2E process like maybe two months ago and we're all still trying to get the hang of it...
target is such a high school. shit gets spread around so quickly that you either have to not tell anyone anything or find people who will not say anything
a successful market shift for me is when all of our C&S pallets are backstocked and the coolers look clean. (we get C&S Monday, Wednesday and Friday, so we have about 8 hours to stock the floor, backstock everything, and clear the coolers.)
