    Archived 12 days to go...

Thanks all! This is probably the last time I'll ever work at Target.

    Archived 12 days to go...

Put in my two weeks on Monday. Actually put it off because I was really going to miss my team. But then I walked in yesterday to having ZERO three tier carts, because they were all full of toy clearance or being used for other sections...and then had to hear about the craziness of the back to...

Archived What to do with the closetful of red shirts?

Last time I left, I gave away the red shirts that were in good condition to a minor TM. The rest I think I donated or recycled. Khakis were in such a sad state that they just got tossed out. I did consider a red and khaki bonfire. OOOH. I did keep my "Backroom Certified" shirt though. It's two...

Archived Gripes with how/why I was let go. Quick vent.

I'm sorry to hear that you were let go, and it sounds like a bad situation. But frankly, I think you're lucky. With the severe hours cut, you're better off trying to find something more steady than staying on at Target. Good luck with the interview!

Archived It's time for me to get out of Target

I fell into the same category and had to defer my loans as well. It's nice and it sucks at the same time. I put on mine the work center I was in and what the duties were. Example: Photo Team Member. Responsible for printing guests' photos, cashiering, and assisting the checklanes when needed...

Archived It's time for me to get out of Target

Wow, that's awesome. I had a lot of people that were sad, but the only thing was that my GSTL requisitioned a big bag of candy (which I shared with everyone). I gave away a lot of my red to one of my cashier friends and donated the rest, along with my khakis. I'm kind of glad it worked this...

Archived It's time for me to get out of Target

I was definitely in the same boat at Target. I had my bachelor's and was just a regular TM. We had some good leadership when I first started, so the only obnoxious thing was the hours. I asked for 25 hours to start with (since I was taking classes for my teaching license) and that was fine...

Archived Freedom!!! But I have a question...

I can still log in there, all it's got is my pay and benefits summary through July 31st and something about life insurance. Le sigh. Unless something came to my home address...I moved 7 hours away so I don't get mail frequently.

Archived Freedom!!! But I have a question...

Annie, would you know if they send a final printed check out? I have direct deposit paperless and I obviously can't get into eHR...would be helpful to see if my insurance was deducted.

Archived Freedom!!! But I have a question...

Yeah, I think it's if you retire, you keep your card. I still have mine - it just doesn't work. :) They didn't ask for that or my nametags, so I kept them. My money was deposited last Friday, we'll see if I get a paper copy in the mail.

Archived Freedom!!! But I have a question...

Yeah, all the ETL-HR told me was to get the resignation form filled out. That was about it. She gave me the driest congratulations ever, too. I'm going to call to see if I get a final check sent to me since I can't get into eHR anymore, and that should answer the insurance question. I'm...

Archived Freedom!!! But I have a question...

Oh great. Just realized that I had direct deposit paperless. Will I get a last check? I can't get into eHR. I got my answer in the mail today - my coverage ended today. I need to call my school and see when my coverage starts, I'm betting it will be mid-September. I'm highly annoyed with this...

Archived Freedom!!! But I have a question...

Hey all! I have broken free of the bonds of the Bullseye! I found a full time teaching position and obviously, a teacher's salary is way better than Target, so I took it. I put in my two weeks as soon as I found out (which was on the 12th). I had been scheduled for this week, but ended up...
