^^ Yes. We got into a lot of trouble a couple of months ago for not doing it "right" so now we have to do DPCI/CRC or DPCI/Salvage side by side or top to bottom. On a paper tag we just do one on one side and the other on the other. Not much you can do there tbh so "they" just have to deal.

My store has a cart pusher. None of the cart attendants use it. It's more of a hassle than helpful tbh.

^^ So then do you (ethically) press can't find if it's legit not there or do you punch in DPCIs to make it look like it was. I've always been told to punch in DPCI but then I wonder if the DU person should be held accountable for not following through and losing the sale.

And for those offering solutions, do not get threatened by them because they have more knowledge than you. Be teachable.

We are not allowed to say anything about animals. There have been several guests with dogs off leash and I called AP. They did nothing.

Well how are you going to tell them no? I mean if we can't tell a pet owner that their dog is clearly not a service animal, I'm not sure we have the ability to say anything at all.

20-24 hours gets one set of accrual rates and 25+ hours gets a different set. Also factor in the 0-5 yrs, 5-10 yrs, 10-25, 25+ years of employment for each chart.

I tell them we are out of refills and to call before they come in. We don't let them take new, boxed canisters as an exchange.

10 days? Now, it's 5 days for Covid leave. Unfortunately if you are seasonal for fulfillment or cashier, your odds of staying on are pretty slim even without a Covid-related absence....unless you have a specific availability that the store needs, i.e. closing. Even then if you have feet issues...

My daughter did that interview and didn't get hired. The video interview was extremely stressful for her. Nevermind that she has a great work ethic and has worked in customer service jobs for quite a while and had almost full open availability. Nope.

I think that since Black Friday isn't really a thing anymore that there shouldn't be such strict black out dates for that day.

^^ It's because ship always seem to be clothes (at least at my store) and with the cluster that is style, it's super difficult to find anything...especially when you look at the quantity available and it's only 1. To me, that's almost always a straight INF. I don't even ask.

3 batches in 6 hours? Yikes. Getting familiar with the store will help. But yeah, depending on whether it is straight OPU/SHIP or a grocery batch, you probably should be able to do at least 2-3 in an hour. That's just the picking. The packing process takes a bit longer but yesterday I packed 5...
