Archived Male ETLs - what do you wear?

I wear a polo every day unless it's a visit, then I will wear a button down. I wear T-Shirts if I cover for my LOG and run the truck. LOG wears Polos untucked and usually with grease stains and holes unless we have a visit. The GE wears dress shirts of all colors and puts a red cardigan on and...

    Archived Degrees and Leadership

You can get to ETL without a degree, just takes much, much longer and A LOT of backing from etls/stls and even dtls. I only know of a couple around my area who have done it. On a side note, I did not suddenly feel smarter or understand Target more when I got my degree.... I think there is a lot...

Archived *fun post* Etls dress code =)

My log bought 10 red polos off Amazon, all exactly the same. He's on his 6th one in 6 months. Then have one dress shirt for visit days.

    Archived HRBP

Mehhh. I have to agree. The pay is obviously very nice, but the hours and inconsistency in my schedule suck.

Archived Switching companys: is it worth it?

My store is an hour and 15 minute commute in straight traffic. My store is overspent on EVERY budget because of the previous STL/ETLs My new STL is awesome, but expects some unrealistic hours to make up for previous management failures Maybe this is why I have had a bad experience so far and...

    Archived HRBP

I can see the STL's who want out of the store side and taking an HRBP spot and considering it a promotion? But yeah, HRML would be more likely.

    Archived HRBP

Best part of BP is their schedules and being out of store. The raise isn't too much, but it is definitely nice. Not as much as an STL.

They're in their own pyramid almost. It's hard to compare, but I would put them below an STL and above an ETL. Pay comparisons put them at the also

Archived Switching companys: is it worth it?

I started with Target as a Cashier/Cart attendant 5 years ago. I floated around a few TM roles and never really got promoted, but was given more responsibility(Typical Target saving a dime). I got offered an intern position during the summer of 2014 and succeeded, was offered the ETL. I started...

Ultimately your STL makes the call. BP's are there for support.

BP roles are nice, but I would put them a step below the STL.

Archived Brand TM "training" as LOD in Nov/Dec

I was "LOD" as a TPS for my last 9 months while I graduated college and could accept my offer officially. Every friday I would be "MID LOD." No keys, no real power. Looking back it was definitely just something to keep me interested, but it was actually making me uninterested. I participated in...

    Archived No store, LOD support

STL, AP, HR, GE, SF, LOG, 2 Srtls. We run 3 LODs a day, open/mid/close.

    Archived No store, LOD support

LOD once or twice...? My store every LOD does 3 minimum, besides me and the log everyone else does 4 most weeks. I agree though, it sucks now that I have other metrics to own.

    Ship From Store

We're at 75 max and hit it both days so far. It's actually quite a lot of work for the TM, I don't think they were expecting it.

    Archived No store, LOD support

Hello everybody! As many of you know I started business college and am finished up now. The overall experience was not too different from the internship, it was more specialized to my position (AP). Now that I finished they do not have a store for me to be at because all the positions are full...

Archived My 2015 Summer ETL Intern experience so far

The out of store experiences were extremely helpful during my internship, it's unfortunate that they took those away in your district. I know the interns in my district are still working out of store some days. Trips to places like the IC, Distribution Center, and Regional Offices.
