    Yep. Specifically because as a Closing TL I wasn't getting the district face time they felt was necessary, lack of overall department knowledge, and wasn't influencing my peers as much since they're mostly gone by the time I come in.

    I'm right there with you. We're a Priority Pull store, so we have fewer pulls but have a goal of 75% completion. The morning team doesn't really pull anything outside of what's left overnight so when we come in at 4PM it's sometimes near 700 DPCIs. Oh, they also don't push reshop during the day...

    I'd say it's mostly up to your SD's discretion but sometimes there are outside factors. I know right now our HRD and BPs are saying there is a promotion freeze until after headcounts and reviews are finalized except for extraneous factors so no movement in my group right now unless approved.

    When I was promoted to Closing TL I spent time in two different stores before moving to my current store and training with the leads there, though I took a transfer as apart of my promotion so my current SD wanted me to train somewhere specific.

    At my store the expectation is that TMs will have already checked the home location, end caps, side caps, reshop, the backroom location, and know when it was last sold and delivered before they call for a leader who may have other suggestions.

    I'm a Closing TL in a large city and I am usually by myself after 6:30 with few issues, though I do wish I had another TL with me to cover Fulfillment or the Front End sometimes. Not an ETL or SD, though. I don't need anyone breathing down my neck while I'm supposedly running the show.

    Thanks! I’ve been in the role for a couple months now and things have settled a bit, though on occasion I’ll have someone from the Inbound team call in and have no idea who I am. Also still haven’t met one of our GMTLs since they’re usually gone hours before I come in.
