I don't doubt that you are speaking the truth here, but that really sucks. TL opportunities are scarce, and being expected to "stay loyal" to a store that is basically giving you TL responsibilities but no pay vs. a store that will hire you as a TL is ridiculous.

Don't take it personally, if the ETL hadn't "talked to" you about anything, the other TL would have freaked out and escalated the issue. The ETL probably didn't see anything wrong with what you were doing or else s/he would have said something specific.
