Are you sure about that? Where does it say that or is that an assumption? And yes the leaked org charts show a possibility of added GSTL for base stores ($35mil-$72mil) so its probably earned if needed.

For us it would be easy to swing into that, we have 2 GSTL’s and 4 GSA’s (I’m the most senior and the only one on the bench) cut those 4 out and 3 would seem like not enough coverage...

What stores get an added GSTL role? I’ve been a GSA for 10 months, and have weekly status meetings with the GE and STL, expressed frequent interest in promoting, also I did the Q1 conversations with front end TM’s, and I’ll be damned if I get shoved back as a TM. Our store made 45mil in sales...

Would it be specific by TL? Like “____TL will meet on _____day” Or is it generic like just says when the meetings should happen?

This is what scares me. Lack of good communication on this is freaking people out because all we are told is “big changes are coming and they will completely affect the way you work. Oh but wait we can’t tell you lol.”

How much longer until we get any real solid information on modernization based on stores? My STL said that not every store will role out the same exact version of modernization and it will be based on store needs and priority. When do we get any real information? When will we find out who gets...

I feel like this is only accurate in your state. The minimum for seniors is higher in my state. It’s $21/hr in my area. It’s really expensive to live here guys.

Also probably depends on where you are in the country too.

How big a pay bump are we talking?

So essentially this role is no different than a SrTL except that person when in the building is always LOD? Who takes LOD calls when they go on break or lunch since I’m assuming they are hourly?

Does it have to be a TL or SrTL? I know a team member who would love that job and works really hard and she would do amazing since she’s a born leader. She’s not a TL, but most of the tm’s listen to her because she knows what she’s doing.

Who is this position available to if no one wants it? All hourly leadership is saying no lol

Since this position is brand new, what is the hiring process? Do you still go through interviews, or is it handed since it most likely was already discussed between DTL and STL anyways?

So even though they are LOD they cannot coach? Not being able to give a CCA makes perfect sense, but not allowed to coach? Ifeel like that would be counterproductive since tm’s could just blow you off and the ETL’s/TL’s of specific departments wouldn’t care.

To add to this question, what level does the closing leader sit on hierarchy wise? Is it the same as a SrTL or that of an ETL? What authority do you have in store operations? Are you expected to act and have the same authority as a store director, or is the authority the same as a TLOD? If there...
