I try telling guests that our displays are manufacturer defects. I tell them that we get their manufacturing line defective units and Target does not have to pay full price for a "working" display. I also like to add that it may spark or short out on use. That usually seals the deal.

I like to answer that question with "Sometimes" or "Not Usually". It makes them think for a second.
