    Archived Raise %

Raise percentages normally are anywhere from 1% on the low end to 5-6% on the high end. However this year the bump for those below $9 (or the new base for their position) will also be factored in. Which is why you may see some people with higher percentages because that's how much their pay...

    Archived PAY SCHEDULE

I wanna say it's New Hampshire that has weekly pay. Possibly Massachusetts.

    Archived Price Match PLUS Discount

Depends on the item. Some things like game consoles are priced just barely above cost. In which case the spot discount might be better.

    Archived PAY SCHEDULE

And if it's like tms half of the stores are paid one week and the other half the next week. I think there is one state that pays weekly though.

    Archived Pays buy position?

Depends on your HR. When I asked about negotiating a promotion raise I was simply told "no".

    Archived Pays buy position?

I won't say exactly. But our base is much lower than that.... Food Ave is .25 above base though.

How do you go about changing it? I can't seem to find where to do it.

Archived Who Has A Target 401K Enrollment Plan?

I wish I could put in 20%..... I suggest anyone that can put at least 5% in so you get the 5% match from spot. That's like a extra pay raise. Actually better raise than you'll get on a review.

Archived The great GSA pay debate

GSAs should get more pay, but I don't think you should be insulted that TPS is a higher pay grade. If you screw up you may get coached, if a TPS screws up they may get fired because their mistake could lead to a lawsuit.

    Store Paygrades

A lot do come from a background where everything was paid for them. I have my degree but I worked my ass off to get it with little help from anyone financially. It's unfair to lump everyone in that same group. But I know ETLs that do come in with no job experience what so ever, short of the...

Archived Can you use your discount with food stamps?

There was a period when the TM discount didn't work with food stamps. I seem to remember it happening around the time food stamps went from EBT food to SNAP. I really saw no reason for them not to allow it. Target is getting paid, so what's the problem.

    Archived Price Match PLUS Discount

Maybe I'm crazy but I seem to remember spot not price matching target.com prices before. Has something changed? I haven't even tried it in so long.

    Archived Target Paying For Hotel?

Planorama is really the only time I've seen it done. I know I went on a planorama a few years back 3 hours away and was paid for my drive time, gas, food and hotel room. And all of it was overtime. Aww that was a nice check. Recently as this year there were a few people at a planorama at a...

Archived How to change the Tobacco User status?

I was more worried about waiting on hold for a hour and being told nothing could be done. That to me wasn't worth my time. However made the call earlier and it actually was a easy change once you get through prompts. Just tell them there's a error on your coverage.

Archived How to change the Tobacco User status?

I also got the tobacco charge, the only charge on my paperwork I received. I wasn't enrolling in Target insurance so I didn't think I needed to do anything. Guess I was wrong. How easy is it to get this changed? The charge is so small per pay period I'm debating if it's even worth the hassle...

    Archived Full time benefits question

Odd you would think it would be the same as vacation time. I started accruing that as soon as I hit I believe 20 hours average. Finally coming close to the 32 average tho, I would hate to have to wait until next year to start accruing personal holiday hours.
