This is how I get by. Sometimes I have a schedule that doesn't allow me to work after 6pm, and other times, I'm completely open. So I leave my availability from 12a-6p and pick up shifts whenever I can. But I'm trained in a lot of workstations. If you're only trained in one thing, it might be...

It's actually a lot of fun in my opinion. I always enjoy it. And 6a-2:30p is the best shift. I used to do that for truck and I still tell the PMT on a regular basis that I hate him because he has that shift every day and mine is different every single day. It's great being done that early.

Same here. Literally one person at my store is getting OT right now, and he is literally the only person in the store that doesn't want it.

We always had to have shift swaps approved anyway though, so I don't see why they couldn't just deny someone picking up a shift 😑 I also had a note posted at the fitting room (in one of our binders, not out on the desk where guests could see) lettingsoftlines know that I'd pick up any shifts...
