    Archived Team Leader Pay

Went from Backroom TM to Backroom TL in mid 2010, going from $9.67 to $15.00. When I quit in March of last year, I was at $16.92. Standard annual review raises, whatever E was each year.

    Archived AE14 Reviews

When I started, I worked exactly 1 single day of the previous review year. So, I got an "annual review" for that 1 single day of work. $0.05 raise for one day of work! Woo hoo!

    Archived AE14 Reviews

My last day was a few weeks ago. Good thing too, because the day before my last day, I got my review. IE, 67. F*** You Target, and your koolaid drinkers. On the one hand I was happy that my ETL had just hit his 18 months at our store, and so should have been on the way out to a new one sometime...

    Archived eHR

Microsoft's monthly software update happened yesterday, which is known as Patch Tuesday (making today Exploit Wednesday). I noticed after the update that IE was now at version 11 for me. When I went to eHR, I got the incompatible browser message. If this is the case for you (click the little...

    Store Paygrades

Over a long enough period of time, you will be able to learn enough of the paygrades just by watching the open positions sheet that clerical posts every so often.

    Archived Outstanding review?

I saw it. Same here, and probably everywhere. I think it's just the Target standard. It really does need to be objective though. Each question should have a 1 through 5 attached to it alongside the letter. Add it all up, and at the end, you get the overall score. They can throw their score...

    Archived Outstanding review?

I tried explaining that to my ETL and he doesn't give a s***. Core roles don't matter. Work centers don't matter. We are all here to do the same thing, so anybody can do anything that needs to be done. According to him. HE got an EX.

    Archived Outstanding review?

Same thing here, but I'm on the TL side. I fought with my ETL on three separate occasions for a particular one of my team members to get an EX. I spelled out exactly why, and why I thought the other two team members that did get EXs, weren't quite there yet. Three times. But they weren't hearing...

    Archived YTD earnings?

The system is generally totally and completely garbage when it comes to viewing anything other than the most recent check. I'd really, really, really advise against going paperless. You never know when you'll need critical historical information, and it will bite you in the ass when you don't...

    Archived Outstanding review?

As a TM I got an IE my first year because I had been working for less than a month when the review year ended, so "not enough time to be effective". For my second year as a TM, I got an EX. For all three years as a TL, I've had an E. Different ETL each year and let me tell you, it varied WILDLY...

Archived It's official: no HMOs or PPOs next year

Speaking of benefits, I have the Kaiser plan from last year and the year before. It's really irritating me and I'm thinking of either dropping it or not using it unless I'm dying. Everytime I go, I get random bills for random amounts every few weeks for the next two or three months. The visits...

It does help keep the average up from January to March.

Archived Is Veteran's day considered time & 1/2 paid holiday??

Yeah, those other ones I can understand, but not Veterans Day.

Archived Is Veteran's day considered time & 1/2 paid holiday??

For some reason I can't understand, no. There are 6. New Year's, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Veteran's Day, a major, important, national holiday where everything is closed and people get paid...isn't a holiday for Target. No idea why.

Archived $1 a hour Wage Increase for Everyone in our Store.

If they probed for core roles and the level of expectations for job performance and quality instead of just raw hourly wage, all the TMs would be making several dollars more per hour than they do now. I've worked at a lot of different places, and the expectations, and performance and quality...
