Alcohol Training

Since a few people are confused at my store I have a few questions about the alcohol training.

1. What is covered in the training?
2. Does it take 3 hrs to complete it all?
3. Is it possible to not pass the test?

1. When & where you're allowed to sell: some states have certain hours for alcohol sales, sales cannot be done at pharmacy, Starbucks, Target Cafe, Tech or any registers other than front end. Returns have to be handled a specific way. Most states mandate a minimum age to sell (ie: 18-21 depending on your state). Penalties for NOT checking ID include: TM terminated, store fined, everyone undergoes retraining.
2. Depends on the TM.
3. Yep. I've known several who had to take it several times.

If you pay attention to the training you should have no problems passing the first time.

Easy to buy beer in NY State in the '60s when you're under age. Fake ID's and most Deli owners didn't care one way or the other.

I can alcohol train anybody….come over to my place on a work night for a live seminar on how to chug 120 proof bourbon like a baleen whale chugs on krill and then clopen 6.5 hours later without the smallest trace of a hangover. With me there’s no licensing scheme aside from a poast on TBR to affirm your citizenship status as non-pleb (class A1, like the steak sauce)
